Marshall Lake
with Egrets, Herons, Turtles and Dragonflies
June 20, 2020

What came out of that exuviae to the left of the water lily?

NL-2020-07 KW ML1

I cancelled my Mac Lake trip due to weather and low water, but already had my kayak and gear loaded.  What is a person to do?  I went to Marshall Lake, where the water level was also low, and spent a very relaxed and pleasant hour and a half paddling around and taking photos.  There was one mammal swimming – could have been a beaver, otter or nutria.  I could not get the camera ready in time to capture it for the record.  There is no particular theme to this, so I’ll just post some of my photos in the order they were taken.
