What: As part of its efforts to raise public visibility and support for Little White Oak Bayou (which was earlier known as Hollywood Bayou for the holly trees growing along it), the Friends of Woodland Park will host a hike on Sunday February 25. The hike, which will be guided by a master naturalist, will explore the bayou from Woodland Park up to Moody Park. It will also include a visit to the historic Hollywood Cemetery. The round-trip hiking route is approximately two miles, and an alternative route will also be available for those preferring a shorter hike.
When: Sunday February 25
Where: The group will meet up at 9:30 AM at Woodland Park, 212 Parkview Street in Houston.
